About This Pair

Cloud Strife is Square Enix’s most famous hero – a former member of the elite SOLDIER programme who comes to terms with his past and steps up as a leader. His trademark is the giant Buster Sword, first seen in Final Fantasy VII and instantly recognisable for its sheer size and single-edged blade, said to be around 5 to 6 feet long.

Sephiroth is the main villain of Final Fantasy VII and its remake, and Cloud’s arch-enemy – a former SOLDIER who became twisted. His Masamune, a long Japanese odachi, appears throughout the series.
