About Gimli’s Walking Axe

Gimli is one of Frodo’s loyal companions in the fight against the Dark Lord Sauron. He stands with the alliance of free peoples and the kings who help the quest reach Mordor, where the Ring must be cast into the fire. Together with his friends, he fights fearlessly against the armies of Sauron and Saruman – and his walking axe became a symbol of that strength.

Son of Glóin and of noble Dwarven blood, Gimli never hesitates when called to stand with Frodo, axe always in hand. He cuts down many of the forces allied with the Orcs, and the walking axe is with him right to the end. It is a handsome piece, with brass and metal finishing that really lifts its look. Its pointed ends could make short work of an enemy, and its weight alone would send many a foe running from the battlefield.

Axe With Real Presence Handled plenty of replicas over the years, but the Walking Axe from Lord of The Rings stands out for its density and how it sits in the hand. Pick it up and it genuinely feels usable, and the stainless build gives it a premium feel. Cracking buy.

Axe Looks Superb On The Wall Delighted with the Walking Axe from Lord of The Rings when it turned up. Timber hanging board is a nice touch, and with its robust metal haft and cast head it looks brilliant in the lounge. Cracking showpiece for any Tolkien enthusiast.

Solid As They Come I went in doubtful about how the Walking Axe would feel, but one lift and I was convinced. The stainless steel is excellent and the whole thing feels robust enough to actually swing in anger, not that I'd suggest trying it.

Fit For A Dwarf Lord My Walking Axe from Lord of The Rings has been a cracking buy. The bracket in the box is robust and screwed into the plaster without any bother, and once it was hung the whole corner of the room took on a proper Tolkien atmosphere. Visitors love it.
