Solid display piece

The display mount arrived solid and didn't wobble, which was a relief given the weight of the blade. The patina has a lovely, uneven depth to it that looks far more organic than a uniform black finish would. Holding it, you really feel the cold steel through the leather grip, making it feel heavy and grounded rather than like a cheap prop. It sits beautifully on my mantelpiece without looking out of place.
