Dwarf Approved Heft Gimli has been my favourite since the films came out and this axe does him justice. Serious mass to it, so it sits with genuine presence in the grip, yet nicely centred so you can lift and pose with it comfortably. Not that you should be waving it about indoors, of course. Brilliant.

Stands Up Without Rocking Got the Bearded Axe of Gimli Official Licensed Replica for the bookcase and it looks cracking there. The rest has a heavy foot and a stiff steel post that keeps the axe vertical, so there is no leaning or toppling even when the cat walks past. Finishing on the head is lovely.
