Arrived well wrapped in thick bubble wrap, which was a relief given the weight of it. The piece sits heavy in the hand, and the edge looks sharp enough to be dangerous, so I’ve kept it sheathed for now. Definitely sturdier than expected.

Picked up the Freedom Fighter Early Scottish Claymore Sword Replica for my workshop wall and it’s absolutely stunning. The patina is doing a brilliant job of making the steel look aged and genuine, not like cheap cold steel. It came with a sturdy display mount which was a lifesaver given the weight. Feels like a real piece of history rather than a prop.
