About This Pair
Cloud Strife is the hero of Final Fantasy VII and its many sequels and spin-offs – a former member of SOLDIER, the elite force of the Shinra Electric Power Company. His giant Buster Sword is said to be four to six feet long, and in Final Fantasy VII artwork its edge is a lighter colour, with two holes near the guard.
The gunblade is a recurring Final Fantasy weapon, first appearing in Final Fantasy VIII – a combination of sword and gun. Squall Leonhart’s gunblade is the most famous of all, and gunblades have since appeared in Advent Children and Crisis Core too.
