Based on 15th century Type XVIIIa swords, the Black Death gothic sword gives UK collectors and reenactors a dark, historically inspired longsword.

Type XVIIIa blades were developed to face plate armour, with a stiff tapering profile for both cutting and thrusting. This version is made from tough 5160 high carbon spring steel and comes with a leather sheath.
