About the Black Glamdring Replica
Glamdring, known as the Foe-hammer, was once the sword of the King of Gondolin. It is said to have had a beautiful scabbard and a jewelled hilt, and according to Unfinished Tales it was white and gold with an ivory sheath.
Like Orcrist and Sting, Glamdring was forged by Elven smiths, and all three were said to glow with a cold light whenever Orcs were near, warning whoever carried them. It blazed like a blue flame when it slew the Great Goblin, although it is usually described as white.
